Hass Avocado Donuts with Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of gluten free flour
  • 1/3 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of gluten free baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1.2 oz (35g) WAKI GO Hass Avocado Original Flavor
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 3/4 cup of maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
  • 0.8 oz (25g) WAKI GO Hass Avocado Original Flavor
  • 2.40 fl oz (70 ml) of water 
  • 1 tablespoon of softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups of powdered sugar
  • Optional Chocolate chips

To prepare donuts

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray.
  3. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients for the donuts and set aside.
  4. In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients until combined, making sure there are no lumps of avocado.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. Pour the batter into the donut pan and bake for about 25 minutes.
  7. Prepare the glaze.

To prepare avocado glaze

  1. Using a mixer, beat WAKI GO Hass Avocado powder and butter until combined and smooth.
  2. Add the vanilla extract and salt.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until combined, adding more if needed until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Add water and whisk!
  5. Once the donuts are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool.
  6. Decorate with the glaze and optional chocolate chips.
